This section provides access to a range of materials produced as part of the project, including National Action Plans developed by each partner, which offer a comprehensive overview of legal and policy frameworks at the country level (Belgium, Cyprus, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Poland). Additionally, it will feature a Good Practice Guide, training materials and a policy report, which are designed to equip future guardians of unaccompanied migrant children with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively support these children in a dynamic and collaborative learning environment.

GUARD-UP project

  • D2.1 Action Plans in GR, IT, PL, CY, HR, BE
    This document provides a comprehensive analysis and mapping of the guardianship systems in Greece, Italy, Poland, Cyprus, Croatia and Belgium and is an integral part of the GUARD-UP project, which aims to strengthen the protection systems for unaccompanied minors in six European Union member states. It offers an in-depth overview of the relevant national laws and regulations, in conjunction with the applicable international legal frameworks, identifying gaps and areas for improvement. The mapping utilizes the EGN PAS-tool, developed by Nidos and its partners in the ProGuard project, which serves as a tool to assess existing guardianship systems.
  • Deliverable 2.2 Good Practices Guide
    This Guide presents good practices of the guardianship systems as those are found in Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Italy and Poland and is an integral part of the GUARD-UP project, which aims to strengthen the protection systems for unaccompanied minors in six European Union member states. It offers a more in-depth review of the good practices identified from the partner countries and that are being used along with the gaps and challenges faced and the lessons learnt from each one of them.
