My brother is currently in removal proceedings, and we're urgently looking for a good deportation defense attorney in New York. I found the website of SJKP Law Firm (sjkplawfirm.com), which specializes in deportation defense – they offer help with asylum, cancellation of removal, adjustment of status, etc. It sounds professional, but I can hardly find any reviews or real experiences online. Has anyone worked with them or knows similar firms in NY? How did the process go, were you able to prevent deportation? Worth the fees? Any info helps – thanks!

I’m a guardian in Belgium supporting a 17-year-old minor who’s been showing signs of severe anxiety and withdrawal lately. I am a guardian in Italy and currently support a 16 year old boy, who has been waiting over two months to get enrolled into school. The process seems slow and I am getting conflicting information from local authorities. Very frustrating sometimes..

Is anyone else dealing with long delays for enrolling in schools in your country? Any tips on how to speed things up, or advocate more effectively?

Missing Minor Under My Guardianship in Belgium

I’m a guardian in Belgium. One of the minors I’m responsible for (15 years old) didn’t return to the shelter yesterday and hasn’t been reachable since. The authorities have been informed and I am in contact with the shelter, but I feel stuck and worried.
Has anyone dealt with a similar situation?
